6.3.2.2. Air filter

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Models with the 1,6 liters engine
1. Release fixing clips and uncover a casing of the air filter together with consolidation.
2. Remove the filtering element, having remembered as it was established.
3. Disconnect an inlet pipe of a casing of the air filter at the left.
4. Weaken a fixing collar (shooter), the fixing casing of the air filter to the case of a butterfly valve.
5. Disconnect all air hoses from a casing of the air filter, having remembered or having marked the provision of their installation and, then turn off a fixing bolt (it is specified by an arrow).
6. Release a fixing collar and remove a casing from above of the case of a butterfly valve. Disconnect all vacuum from a casing of the air filter, having remembered or having marked the provision of their installation.
7. Remove a sealing ring from above of the case of a butterfly valve and put it together with a casing of the air filter.
8. If it is necessary, turn off two fixing bolts, then, disconnect the inlet air duct from above of the resonator and get it from a motive compartment. Then, it is possible to remove the resonator.
Models with the 2,0 liters engine
9. Release a fixing collar and remove the inlet air duct from the air stream sensor.
10. Disconnect the socket of connection of the sensor of a stream of air, then, release fixing clips and uncover a casing of the air filter.
11. Remove the filtering element, having remembered as it was established.
12. Disconnect the inlet air duct from a casing of the air filter, then, turn off fixing bolts of a casing and get a casing from a motive compartment.
13. After removal of a casing it is possible to remove various hoses and resonators after their fixing bolts are turned off and hoses are disconnected.
14. Disconnect hoses (are specified by shooters) and weaken fixing collars of the air duct.
15. Remove the air duct and disconnect its lower air hose.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation is carried out upside-down removals. Check that all air ducts and hoses were correctly connected and reliably fastened by means of collars.
