6.4.1.1.3. System of recirculation
The recirculation valve, the backpressure valve and the thermal vacuum distributive valve (TVR) are a part of system.
Check on carburetor engines
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. For check disconnect hoses from these valves and blow, air has to pass through hoses freely. |
2. Check of TVR is described in subsection 6.4.1.1.2. |
3. For valve check of recirculation disconnect a vacuum hose in the top part. Attach an auxiliary hose and create in it depression. Check the diaphragm course, having put a finger to the lower part of the valve. If the diaphragm is not mobile, then replace the valve. |
4. If TVR is serviceable, then check the backpressure valve. For this purpose warm up the engine and disconnect a vacuum hose from the recirculation valve. Apply a finger to a hose, sharply increase and dump engine turns. At increase of turns in a hose depression which has to weaken slightly when dropping turns has to be felt. Otherwise replace the backpressure valve. |
|
Check on the injector engine
Check technique same, as on the carburetor engine behind that exception that instead of TVR the solenoidal valve is checked.
The solenoidal valve differs in nothing from the valve of system of catching of vapors of gasoline and is checked similarly
(see
subsection 6.4.1.1.2).
RECIRCULATION VALVE
Replacement
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. The recirculation valve on the injector engine (it is specified by an arrow) is mounted in the left part of the soaking-up collector. For access to the valve it is recommended to remove the air filter and the backpressure valve. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the valve. |
2. Release nuts of unions and disconnect tubes of recirculation and the backpressure valve. |
3. Turn off 2 nuts, remove the valve and laying. |
|
BACKPRESSURE VALVE
Replacement
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. The valve is mounted in the left part of the soaking-up collector (1 – screws, 2 – vacuum hoses). For access to the valve it is recommended to remove the air filter. |
2. Disconnect vacuum hoses from the valve. |
3. Overnite 2 screws also remove the valve. |
4. The valve is installed upside-down. |
|
TBP ON THE CARBURETTOR ENGINE
Replacement
See
subsection 6.4.1.1.2.
THE SOLENOIDAL VALVE ON THE INJECTOR ENGINE
Replacement
See
subsection 6.4.1.1.2.
THE SENSOR OF CONTROL OF THE FULFILLED GASES
Check on carburetor engines
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Adjust quality of mix of idling. |
2. Open the diagnostic socket which is under a block of safety locks. |
|
3. Connect the voltmeter to socket conclusions. |
4. Start the engine, bring turns to 2000 rpm and within 2 min. watch the voltmeter. At the serviceable sensor of the indication of the voltmeter from 0 to 12 V for each 10 sec. have to change fivefold. Otherwise the sensor is faulty and more exact check in service of car service is necessary. |
|
Check on the injector engine
If contents WITH in exhaust gases exceeds norm, then it is necessary to check serviceability of the sensor of exhaust gases, using function of self-diagnostics of the processor block.
CONVERTER
Replacement
See
subsection 6.1.14 and
subsection 6.2.16.
SENSOR OF EXHAUST GASES
Replacement
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
Prevention
After falling or severe concussion the sensor can fail.
|
|
1. Disconnect the socket from the sensor of exhaust gases. |
|
2. Get wires from brackets. |
|
2. Turn out the sensor and remove together with laying. |
3. Install the sensor upside-down. Grease a sensor carving with refractory lubricant. |
