7.7.3. Ignition coil

Only for carburetor engines without converter.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
	2. Turn off a high-voltage wire from the coil (is at the left on a head of cylinders).
	3. Disconnect the socket.
	4. Turn off nuts and bolts and remove the coil (are specified by shooters).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check resistance between conclusions + and - between a conclusion + and a high-voltage wire, compare with standard (resistance are given for 20 °C).

2. Check a chain between a high-voltage wire and the case.

3. At detection of malfunctions replace the coil.

Installation

Installation is carried out upside-down.
