3.2.1.17. Details of a suspension bracket of the power unit

Check of a state

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If it is necessary to expand working space, lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports. 2. Check existence on support of a suspension bracket of the power unit of cracks, hardenings, peelings of rubber from a metal basis. At detection at least and the specified damages of a support replace one. 3. Check an inhaling of all threaded connections of support, at an opportunity check the moment of an inhaling a dynamometer key. 4. Check wear of support. For this purpose hook a support the big screw-driver, lomiky or mount and shake, having checked thereby a free wheeling. If it is impossible to check in such a way, then ask the assistant to shake the power unit back and forth and here and there, and watch support. For new support the insignificant side play is allowed, at an excessive side play in support signs of their increased wear easily are found. If in support the big side play is found, then at first check an inhaling of bolts and nuts and replace worn-out details, being guided by the description given below.

Right support

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the battery from weight. 2. Establish a support under the engine, having laid previously between a platform of a support and the engine wooden whetstone or a board. Lift a support so that the platform apprehended the weight of the power unit. 3. Turn off a nut and a coupling bolt, then turn off bolts of fastening and get the right support from a motor compartment. Get rubber pillows which are established on both parties of an arm of a support from a body. 4. If necessary turn off bolts and remove an arm of the right support of the power unit from the engine. 5. Carefully check existence of signs of wear or destructions on all details of a support, in need of a detail replace. 6. At assembly of the right support attach an arm to the engine, having wrapped bolts (if the arm was removed), then tighten bolts with the set moment. 7. Establish rubber pillows on a support arm from a body, be convinced that probes of pillows came into the corresponding openings of an arm. Establish a support on an arm, tighten fastening bolts with the set moment. 8. Insert a coupling bolt of a support and tighten a bolt nut with the set moment. Remove a support from under the engine. 9. Connect the battery to weight.

Left support

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the battery and a tray. 2. Establish a support under the engine, having laid previously between a platform of a support and the engine wooden whetstone or a board. Lift a support so that the platform apprehended the weight of the power unit. 3. Weaken and turn off a coupling bolt of a support, then turn off three bolts of fastening of a support to a case of transmission and displace a support aside. Get the rubber pillows established on both parties of an arm. If necessary turn off arm bolts from a motor compartment. 4. Weaken and turn off a coupling bolt of a support, then turn off three bolts of fastening of a support to a case of transmission and displace a support aside. Get the rubber pillows established on both parties of an arm. If necessary turn off arm bolts from a motor compartment. 5. Carefully check existence of signs of wear or destructions on all details of a support, in need of a detail replace. 6. At assembly of the left support fix an arm, having wrapped bolts (if the arm was removed) and tighten bolts with the set moment. 7. Establish rubber pillows on an arm, be convinced that probes of pillows came into the corresponding openings of an arm, give a support back, having established into place. Wrap bolts of fastening of a support to a transmission case, tighten bolts with the set moment. 8. Insert a coupling bolt of a support and tighten a bolt nut with the set moment. 9. Remove a support from under the engine. Establish a tray and the battery.

Forward support – for cars the sedan and the hatchback (from the manual transmission)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Put the car on the emergency brake, lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports. Disconnect the battery from weight. For expansion of working space unscrew screws and remove the lower guards of mudguards of the engine and transmission. 2. Designate tags the provision of a coupling bolt of a forward support on an arm that at assembly to establish a bolt on these tags. 3. Establish a support under the engine, having laid previously between a platform of a support and the engine wooden whetstone or a board. Lift a support so that the platform apprehended the weight of the power unit. 4. Turn off a nut and get a coupling bolt of a support. 5. Turn off bolts and remove an arm from a forward part of the engine. 6. Carefully check existence of signs of wear or destructions on all details of a support, in need of a detail replace. If it is necessary to replace a rubber pillow of a support, then a vypressuyta a pillow from the central longeron. Establish a new pillow, previously having moistened it with soap water (or detergent) to facilitate a press fitting. 7. Install a support arm on the engine, tighten fastening bolts with the set moment. 8. Insert a coupling bolt of a support, slightly tighten a nut. Orient the power unit so that the coupling bolt was precisely combined with the tag put before removal tighten a coupling bolt with the set moment. 9. Remove a support from under a check point case. 10. Establish guards, reliably tighten screws, lower the car and connect the battery to weight.

Forward support – for cars with a body the versatile person from the manual transmission

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Execute operations in subitem 1-4. 2. Turn off two bolts and remove from the central longeron of fastening of the engine a support assembled. 3. If necessary turn off bolts and remove a support arm from a forward part of the engine. 4. Carefully check existence of signs of wear or destructions on all details of a support, in need of a detail replace. 5. Install an arm on the engine (if acted), tighten bolts with the set moment. 6. Establish a support on the central longeron and tighten bolts with the set moment. 7. Insert a coupling bolt of a support and slightly tighten a nut. 8. Expose the power unit so that the coupling bolt was precisely combined with the tag put before removal tighten a coupling bolt with the set moment. 9. Remove a support from under the check point. 10. Establish guards, reliably tighten screws, lower the car and attach the battery.

Back support

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Put the car on the emergency brake, lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports. Disconnect the battery from weight. 2. Turn off a nut and get a coupling bolt of a back support. 3. Turn off bolts of an arm of a back support, and, manipulating, get an arm. Remove the restrictive ring established between an arm and a support. 4. Turn off two bolts and remove a support assembled from the central longeron. 5. Carefully check existence of signs of wear or destructions on all details of a support, in need of a detail replace. 6. At assembly establish a back support on a longeron and tighten fastening bolts with the set moment. 7. Establish into place a restrictive ring, then establish an arm of a back support and tighten fastening bolts with the set moment. 8. Combine a back support with an arm, insert a coupling bolt and tighten a bolt nut with the set moment. 9. Remove supports, connect the battery to weight.
