12:12. Steering mechanism

Prevention

The present description does not belong to the cars equipped with a safety cushion.

THE STEERING MECHANISM WITHOUT HYDRAULIC BOOSTER

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports.
2. Remove both wheels.
3. Expose wheels in the provision of driving on a straight line.

4. Rasshplintuyte also release a nut of steering draft, a vypressuyta the tip hinge, turn off a nut.
5. Disconnect other tip of steering draft.
	6. In a motor compartment turn off nuts (are specified by shooters) and pull together a cover of the cardan hinge.
	7. Designate mutual position of the hinge and a shaft of the steering mechanism, release a bolt (it is specified by an arrow) and disconnect the hinge.
8. Turn off bolts and remove arms of the steering mechanism.
9. Get the steering mechanism through a niche of the right wheel (on the car with the right wheel) or raise the steering mechanism and get from a motor compartment (on the car with the left wheel).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check existence of signs of wear or damages.

2. Check freedom of movement of a lath, be convinced lack of side plays and jammings.

3. Believe existence of deformation and damages of a lath.

4. Check a condition of covers.

5. Check a side play in tips of drafts.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Center the steering mechanism.

2. For this purpose determine shaft speed between extreme provisions of a lath.

3. From the extreme provision of a lath turn off a shaft on a half of this speed.

4. Install the mechanism and arms, tighten bolts.

5. Attach the cardan hinge, having combined tags (if the removed mechanism is installed).

6. Put on a cover, a frame and wrap nuts.

7. Attach the hinge of draft and screw a nut.

8. Tighten a nut and a zashplintuyta.

9. Attach the second draft.

10. Establish wheels and lower the car.

THE STEERING MECHANISM WITH THE HYDRAULIC BOOSTER

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports.
2. Remove both wheels.
	3. Turn off the union (are specified by shooters) on the steering mechanism and merge liquid.
4. Remove a forward exhaust pipe.
5. Turn off a nut, to a vypressuyta a tip and disconnect steering draft.
6. Disconnect the second steering draft.
7. In a motor compartment turn off nuts and pull together a cover of the cardan hinge.
8. Designate mutual position of the hinge and a shaft of the steering mechanism, release a bolt and disconnect the hinge.
	9. Turn off arm collar bolts on the left side (are specified by shooters).
	10. Turn off arm collar bolts on the right side (are specified by shooters).
11. Remove arms of the steering mechanism.
12. Remove the steering mechanism on the left side of the car.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear and check existence of signs of wear or damages.

2. Believe existence of deformation and damages of a lath.

3. Check a condition of covers.

4. Check a side play in tips of drafts.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Center the steering mechanism.
2. For this purpose determine shaft speed between extreme provisions of a lath.
3. From the extreme provision of a lath turn off a shaft on a half of this speed.
4. Install the mechanism and arms on the available tags, tighten bolts.
Prevention At first slightly tighten the lower bolts of arms, then wrap other bolts and tighten in the specified sequence.
	And. 1st stage of an inhaling Century 2nd stage
5. Establish a forward exhaust pipe.
6. Attach the cardan hinge, having combined tags (if the removed mechanism is installed).
7. Tighten a bolt.
8. Put on a cover, a frame and wrap nuts.
9. Attach the hinge of draft and screw a nut.
10. Tighten a nut and a zashplintuyta.
11. Attach the second draft.
12. Attach tubes.
13. Establish wheels, remove air from a hydraulic actuator (see subsection 12.14).
14. Lower the car.
