3.3.22. Speed of idling and maximum speed
Check / adjustment of speed of idling and maximum speed
As diesel engines have no system of ignition, the special tachometer working at photo cells is necessary.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Warm up the engine up to the operational temperature. Temperature of the min. cooling liquid is +80 °C. |
2. Electroconsumers (the radio receiver, light) have to be switched off. |
3. Connect a tachometer. |
4. 2–3 times give to the engine big turns and leave to idle. |
5. Cock the emergency brake. |
6. Check idling speed. |
|
7. If the speed of idling is determined incorrectly, weaken a lock-nut and adjust speed rotation of the adjusting screw (1). After adjustment you zakontrit the screw. |
Prevention
Do not rotate other screws.
|
|
Check / adjustment of the maximum speed
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Check adjustment of the drive of gas. |
2. Completely squeeze out the accelerator pedal and check the maximum speed. |
3. If the maximum speed is determined incorrectly, weaken a lock-nut and adjust speed, rotating the adjusting screw. After adjustment you zakontrit the screw and establish a new seal. |
Prevention
Do not rotate other screws.
|
4. Disconnect a tachometer. |
|
Adjustment of a demfer
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Start and warm up the engine until the arrow of the index of temperature of cooling liquid reaches the middle of a scale. |
2. Connect a tachometer. |
3. Speed and slowly release Uvelichitte by means of the lever until the adjusting screw concerns a demfer. Speed has to be at the same time 1300 rpm. |
4. If necessary determine the required speed by means of the adjusting screw. |
