3.3.15. Removal and installation of the pallet of a case

For consolidation of the pallet of a case usual sealant, for example, of Loctite is used.

Prevention

You do not apply too much sealant, be especially careful near openings of bolts. Details have to be gathered within 5 minutes after putting sealant. After the expiration of this time sealant has to be removed and applied anew.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a weight cable from the battery.
Prevention

At the same time electronic memory, for example, of the store of malfunctions of the engine or a radio receiver code is erased. Before shutdown of the battery it is necessary to read instructions in subsection 7.2.

2. Lift the car.
3. Remove protection of the bottom of the engine.
4. Merge engine oil.
5. Remove the central beam.
6. Remove a reception pipe of the muffler.
7. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the pallet of a case.
8. Hammer a wedge into consolidation between the block of cylinders and the pallet (shooters specified an arrangement of sealants). In workshops KV-10111100 adaptation which is driven in between the block of cylinders and the pallet of a case is for this purpose used.
9. If there is no adaptation, it is possible to use an old knife. Carefully drive in a knife with the hammer between the block and the pallet.
Prevention

Do not hook the pallet the screw-driver or a chisel at all, without having cut previously consolidation. At removal you watch that the uplotnitlny surface of the pallet of a case was not damaged.

10. Remove the case pallet.
11. It is recommended to remove the mesh filter at the removed pallet and to clear the filter it in a cold cleaner.
12. Check a grid for damages, for example, gaps, if necessary replace.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clear the sealing surfaces of the pallet and block of the consolidation remains by means of a triangular shaber and an edge of the razor.
2. Accurately wipe the block, the mechanism of the crankshaft and the oil pump. Otherwise oil will flow down on consolidation of the pallet.
3. Screw the mesh filter with new laying with 20 N.' effort of m.
4. Degrease and dry up the interfaced surfaces of the pallet and the block of cylinders. As a cleaner it is possible to use alcohol or acetone.
Prevention

It is impossible to use the cleaners corroding a varnish surface.

5. Enclose new laying in both semicircular dredging of the pallet of a case and on the ends from two parties cover with sealing means.
6. Apply sealant with a strip 4-5 mm wide on all perimeter of a sealing surface of the oil pallet. At the same time impose a sealant strip between openings of bolts in a flute (1) of the pallet. On openings of bolts (2) impose a sealant strip on pallet inside at distance of 7 mm.
7. Install the case pallet on the block of cylinders. Wrap bolts at first a hand, then cross-wise (with 1 on 15) with 8 N.' effort of m.
Prevention

Wait before filling of oil of 30 minutes that sealant stiffened.

8. Establish a reception pipe of the muffler.
9. Establish the central beam.
10. Establish protection of the bottom of the engine.
11. Lower the car.
12. Fill in engine oil.
13. Connect a cable of mass of the battery.
14. If is, determine time on hours and enter a protective code of the radio receiver.
15. Make a trial trip, check the level of oil and tightness of consolidation of the pallet of a case, in case of need, carefully tighten all bolts.
